Go forth, go forth for Jesus now!
Be working! Be watching!
The Lord Himself will teach you how
To watch and pray;
‘Tis not for thee thy field to choose,
No work He gives must thou refuse;
Be working! Be watching! Be praying!
Go forth, go forth to all the world!
O stay not! Delay not!
But let love’s banner be unfurl’d,
And grace be told;
O let redeeming love be sung,
A song of joy on ev’ry tongue!
Be working! Be watching! Be praying!
Go forth, let heart and hands be strong!
Be working! Be watching!
O stay the mighty pow’r of wrong
Where’er ye may!
Equipped with love and strength divine,
The victory is surely thine;
Be working! Be watching! Be praying!
Chorus
Go forth to work, to watch and pray!
‘Tis Jesus who calls thee;
The harvest waits for thee today,
Go bring some sheaves for God!
Mrs. Frank A. Breck

Weary and worn I long for rest
Weary and worn I long for rest,
Close Thou my eyes in sleep;
O let me lie upon Thy breast,
My rest in Thee complete!
Give me that inner consciousness
Of Thine exceeding peace,
And from all sorrow, grief and pain
Shall come a sweet release.
Then in the morning gird anew
My soul with strength divine;
The word of Thy salvation be
Assurance I am Thine!
Choose Thou the path in life for me,
And lead me by Thy hand;
May ev’ry impulse of my soul
Respond to Thy command!

What if my heart should feel
What if my heart should feel
The load my Saviour felt
When for my sins He prayed, and wept,
And bled, as there He knelt?
What if my lips should touch
The cup my Saviour met
When in His agony of soul
He wrestled with my debt?
What if my hands and feet
Were nailed to Calv’ry’s cross,
That for my sins could not atone,
Nor take away my dross?
What if this heart of mine
Were pierced with cruel spear?
Yea, death itself would surely fail
To make my record clear.
Chorus
None but the sinless Man,
The apple of God’s eye,
Could pay redemption’s fearful price,
And so He had to die!

Only in Thee, O Saviour mine
Only in Thee, O Saviour mine,
Dwelleth my soul in peace divine,
Peace that the world, tho’ all combine,
Never can take from me;
Pleasures of earth, so seemingly sweet,
Fail at the last my longings to meet;
Only in Thee my bliss is complete,
Only, dear Lord, in Thee!
Only in Thee a radiance bright
Shines like a beacon in the night,
Guiding my pilgrim bark aright,
Over life’s trackless sea;
Only in Thee, when troubles molest,
When with temptation I am oppressed,
There is a sweet pavilion of rest,
Only, dear Lord, in Thee!
Only in Thee, when days are drear,
When neither sun nor stars appear,
Still I can trust and feel no fear,
Sing when I cannot see;
Only in Thee, whatever betide,
All of my need is freely supplied,
There is no help or helper beside,
Only, dear Lord, in Thee!
Only in Thee, dear Saviour, slain,
Losing Thy life my own to gain,
Trusting, I’m cleansed from ev’ry stain,
Thou art my only plea;
Only in Thee my heart will delight,
Till in that land where cometh no night,
Faith will be lost in heavenly sight,
Only, dear Lord, in Thee!
